\\\\@q4os-desktop: ~$ " appeared, stopped there. (\\\=my name)

I am Japanese, aged 68.  Some days ago, I took out my very old computer FMV-686NU (Mobile Celeron 866MHz, 128MB 15GB 14.1TFT NT4.0 ), and, with the help of a YouTube video, managed to downloaded "Q4OS Gemini, Trinity, install-cd- 32bit / i386", and burned it on CD. Then I installed it on my computer.

After "q4os-desktop login:", "password:", "You have mail.
\\\\@q4os-desktop: ~$ " appeared, stopped there. (\\\=my name)

I cannot go further. What Should I do? If I have mail, where is the mail? Does the mail give me a key or something which makes me go farther? Did I do something wrong while downloading? Please help me! Thank you in advance.

Computers are time-and-live consuming.

Unluckily, even for Trinity your old computer only has half the minimum required RAM (see The minimal hardware requirements on this page). I suppose this is the reason why no GUI is displayed.

Q4OS machines: [Samsung R519 - Pentium T4200 2.0 GHz - 4 GB RAM - 500 GB SSD] & [Sony Vaio - Pentium P6000 1.87 GHz - 8 GB RAM - 500 GB SSD]
