usb 32 bit install, er, stuck

I've fallen at the first hurdle.

Trying to install q4os on an old 32 bit win 7 netbook, but I can't get anything to happen at the blue 'installer installation options' screen.

I downloaded the image today, so guess it must be the correct one 4.7 r1.

Having used q4os in a classic side by side mode on another workstation, i am happy to plunge straight in with a full 'no questions, full automated' install on this netbook.

But clicking on that option does nothing. So I tried the classic option, and no reaction there either.

The only tutorial I can find covering this part of the install is for a 64 bit live cd version, which obs I can't use, but anyway, what can there be to know beyond select and enter?

Hope someone there can help, and that the answer won't be something humiliatingly obvious.

Re: usb 32 bit install, er, stuck

I've solved my own question - in case anybody has the same issue in the future I'll give my fix here.

In Rufus (free iso to usb burner as used in the q4os tutorials) select to show advanced drive properties, and check the box for 'add fixes for old BIOSes'.

Having recreated the usb iso with this selected it ran as expected.

I'm new to the forum and can't see any way to flag this post as answered.
