Installing Q4OS on older Macbook Air (Model A1465) - Wifi Not Working

Hi There,

I installed Q4OS on an older Lenovo Yoga laptop and it went great. Everything worked and away I went. Connected to Wifi and starting running.

Then I installed Q4OS on an older Macbook Air (Model A1465) and I could not connect to Wifi. The card is seen based on the INXI. I am not sure what to do next as I am very new with Linux in general. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Installing Q4OS on older Macbook Air (Model A1465) - Wifi Not Working

Just wanted to pass this information on for the next person who has trouble smile

Some older MacBook's use Broadcom wireless network cards. After running these 2 commands and restarting everything worked like a charm!

sudo apt-get update -y
sudo apt-get install -y broadcom-sta-dkms
