@BonusBrain: Yes, I have been booting LiveUSB drives for a long time -- lately with the help of Ventoy, which makes it child's play -- but dual booting would still be required for serious work, IMHO.

Just a minor annoyance with the Windows 10 look version of Quark - which I DO like.
I think there is either a colour scheme missing or something like that. Out of the box the text for menu items for KDE apps vanishes when you move the cursor over them - highlight colour is the same as the background colour.
GTK apps have a light blue highlight which is fine.

Here I am again: 'quark-winsetup-20.04.exe' (downloaded from 'https://sourceforge.net/projects/quark- … r-windows/') is silently failing to even run on Windows 8.1 (v6.3.9600)...
