How to totally remove qBittorrent

I tried to remove qBittorrent and also remove all related config and settings.
I tried this: https://installlion.com/ubuntu/vivid/un … index.html
and I tried the remove functiomn on DISCOVER

Neither one removes all the related config and settings.

I know this because when I reinstall qBitorrent - I see all the settings the same as before.

My intent is to try to install qBittorrent with factory default settings.

Suggestions?

apt purge qbitorrent will completely erase the program and all GLOBAL configurations.

To delete your personal settings, you'll need to delete the configs in your /home directory. Probably either ~/.config/qbittorrent or ~/.qbittorrent
