q4os windows install has stopped booting

I have been using q4os for many months now.   I do all the maintenance updates etc.
Now today it cant boot.   It there a way to recover my installation or is all lost.   My
root.disk reports 0 bytes.   If I can't recover then I don't think I will use Q4OS ever again.
Too put so much time into using an OS just to have everything lost just sucks.  I did not expect
this from Q4OS.

You likely encounter this bug https://www.q4os.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=3697 . If the "root.disk" file has zero size, the only way to restore data would be from an independent backup.

Does your computer feature UEFI, UEFI with active secure boot, or legacy BIOS ?
