Install Q4OS Gemini 4.5 on Tuxedo Aura

Hello everyone,
I installed Q4OS 4.5 on a brand new tuxedo Aura and I have installed tuxedo-fancontrol and tuxedo-keyboard from the respective github.
I have two (minor maybe ) issues
1) The fonts are not scale up properly for some gtk apps such as dia, firefox, geany
2) The battery lasts 3-4 hours while on ubuntu 21.04 I managed to have 5-6 hours.

Does anybody know how to deal with these issues?

Best regards
Giannis

Yes nothing changed. The laptop is warmer in debian than in Ubuntu and the fonts are tiny in GTK apps

I am using KDE 5.20.5. The problem with the tiny fonts in GTK apps is also present in  a Mac book pro 2014 with retina display

Re: Install Q4OS Gemini 4.5 on Tuxedo Aura

For anyone interested here is a small list of guidelines found in the internet

Activate/Add contrib and non-free to your sources.list

sudo apt update

sudo apt install firmware-linux-nonfree firmware-iwlwifi dkms

sudo apt install linux-headers-$(uname -r)

These following dependencies are needed for GUI of TCC to run. These are not available in the Bullseye-repo unfortunately.

http://ftp.br.debian.org/debian/pool/ma … _amd64.deb

http://ftp.br.debian.org/debian/pool/ma … _amd64.deb
Now download our TCC and tuxedo-keyboard:

https://deb.tuxedocomputers.com/ubuntu/ … ol-center/

https://deb.tuxedocomputers.com/ubuntu/ … -keyboard/

And to get the LED in the upper left corner of the touchpad running:

https://deb.tuxedocomputers.com/ubuntu/ … ad-switch/
