Thought I'd extend the W7 theme to TDM

I've attached a couple of screenshots, my desktop using the Metabar konqueror addin which I really like - it's the kubuntu metabar theme.

It's based around the XPQ4 experience but a number of bits were stripped out and than applied individually to a stock install of Debian with TDE 14.09

T'other is the TDM login screen that I have created. Using transparent pngs each element is positioned individually to allow matching up with the basic login screen boxes and the bits I've set up as well.

OK, I know W7 is old hat but it is still one of the nicer incarnations of the windows desktop. The best bit is running at 270mb RAM!

As I still run W7 in one of my laptops (themed with an aero glass skin, BTW) I like this very much. It should be made official, IMHO. smile

Yes, and that's exactly why people will and do cling to it, because 10 still isn't better.

Ehhhh, share this bread ... (mediafire? Upload?) smile
Good job...
and you are right! Windows7 is the most beautiful Windows ...

There should be a suitable version of Q4OS called Q7OS with TDE appearance set to Win7 appearance ...

PS. The appearance of Windows7 is the only good thing Microsoft made for Windows ... Sorry, but I had to smile

I couldn't have had a computer if linux didn't exist ...  & sorry for my English

There is one - visit the xpq4 project https://xpq4.sourceforge.io/

Pick your version of interface - but be aware that your UI prefs get overwritten when you swap looks.
