I'd like to suggest the addition of Ksnip to Software Center, so it is available to install from there. It's small and has very few dependencies, plus it is a very good screenshot taking app https://github.com/ksnip/ksnip

Agreed it is an extremely good version of the Windoes 7 snip tool with nice set of annotation features.

We will consider that option. In any way Ksnip is available from Buster-backports and regular Bullseye repository too.

Yes, it is, not the latest version though. I just think it'd be such a good addition to SC, mostly for newer users who might prefer a GUI approach instead of having to enable backports manually. I've been using Ksnip since it first came out back in 2016 and think it's a wonderful piece of software.

The version in backports might not be the latest version, but there are no actual FEATURES it's missing from the latest version, it's simply a few fixes for issues with edge cases in the newer versions. In terms of features, the version in backports isn't missing anything.

And for the record, I do believe it doesn't really matter whether you use backports' or GitHub's; they will both get the job done just fine, however, having the latest is nicer that's the one I've always used anyway so... I only mentioned it because it is what it is.

2 features, neither of which is a major feature, just extremely minor improvements.
19 fixes, most of which are extremely minor and won't be seen by most users due to their limited scope of when they happen.
Yes. No ACTUAL features and a few fixes. That's exactly right.
