Battery problems with Thinkpad Notebook

Hello,

I am currently trying to install Q4OS, I currently have two problems and I hope you can help me there.

There are two IBM's (T30 and T43)

In both I have the same problem with the energy manager.

The battery level indicator always shows 75% (although it is full), the time is usually given as 3 hours.

How can you display the real values?

Second problem:

I have 2 unknown devices:

Unknown device cmos_nvram0
and Unknwon Device mc

I would like to say that I have not had much experience with Linux and my English is not the best.

Re: Battery problems with Thinkpad Notebook

Hello,

I solved the problem with the wrong battery values. I found various packages in Synaptic for my Thinkpad.

It was a really long time before I found out that ACPI drivers are not found by Q4OS.

The problem with the unknown devices persists, but the laptop itself finally runs as if it were new.

Big compliments to the developers, you have developed a fantastic operating system, if I can still install Zoom now, Q4OS will completely replace my spy program (aka Windows 10).
