Interesting.  Never heard of some some of the images viewers mentioned in this list.  I will have to check them out.  I've actually grown fond of Phototonic, as a simple and quick image viewer.  For the more fancier photo editing/organizing, I like Fotoxx.

My daily driver is Geeqie.

XnViewMP doesn't show in the list which is puzzling. I use it for batch rename and resize operations as well as general viewing.

Sadly there's a Qt clash with the version used in TDE so whilst it works OK the interface cannot be rendered using the correct qt5 style - no big deal, just annoying.

On plasma Gwenview is very good.
