Hello everyone,
2 months ago, i installed Q4OS 32bits on an old computer ( Athlon XP 1800+ / 512megs, no usb boot ).
I wanted to install Freedos, it worked fine ( of course ) but now I only have Freedos at boot, no more GRUB.
I can't access to Q4OS and there is no Live CD 32 bits to repair GRUB, only install CD...
I think this is a big mistake...
very hard to find a linux distribution for "real" old computer...
most of them require great cpu (P4 or more), at least 1gb (recommended 2gb),usb boot, and lot of gigs on the hard disk
![]()
so they are not for "old computers", only "old modern computers"...
thanks

You can use for example Debian live https://www.debian.org/CD/live/ to fix Grub
