can not update
OS Scorpion installed on 2 USB sticks
both simulteniously got same problem and with frequent mouse freeze
3 d stick with MX 18......... same
is it a problem with Debian 9?
installed new Centaurus on 1 of 2 sticks.........same again
........what to do?

It could be a disk failure, please check your disk is writeable.
