Macbook Pro early 2008 - 32 bit

2 years ago I could successfully install Q4OS on a Macbook Pro early 2008 - 64 bit, at the very 1st try with no issues.
Now I have another Macbook Pro, this time 32 bit, and I tried the live of the 2.7
I can try q4os only if I start in the "failsafe" mode, with the "normal" boot after a while the screen becomes black and the cd stop working: in this 2nd case I can't see any message so I can' report anything.

I would like to try to install the 3.9 on the HD of the Mac, but I don't know where to put the codes to have a safe boot and what to write.
Can someone help me?

Another tip: I installed Peppermint 10 (a derivate of ubuntu 18.04) with no issues, and it goes fine also if it is a bit too slow.
With Antix I have the same boot prbos as Q4OS, so I think it's a prob of debian.
I prefer Q4OS because according to my tests it is by far the fastest on old HW.

Many thx in advance
