Print Screen key not working

Hi, on my laptop the print screen key is not working. The system settings are correct I suppose, under preset actions the print screen key is linked to ksnapshot. However nothing happens when pressing the key. how can I change that? when I try to start ksnapshot from the console, it works.

Oh, I just found the answer from q4osteam here:

Press 'printscreen' key to grab a screenshot to the clipboard, then right click on the desktop and select "Paste Clipboard Contents" and then select a filename to save it to.
