I have recently re-installed Centaurus and everything seemed to go well until I tried watching a YouTube video and noticed there was no sound, I unplugged my headphones and no sound through speakers either. I recall having to install pavucontol to get sound to work before (might have been Scorpion but not sure) which I did with the same results. I adjusted everything to make sure that audio should be playing and the visual display in pavucontrol showed that audio was in fact playing and nothing was muted. I went to the Q4OS documentation and followed the advise there but this produced no errors but still no sound.
After this frustration I ran alsamixer in a terminal and selected to show all options and noticed that PCM volume was set to 0, I adjusted this and everything now works fine, just thought I would post in case anyone else has this same problem.

It looks like a hardware dependent issue, at a first sight, as we are not able to reproduce it in Virtualbox. Nonetheless we will continue trying to reproduce and investigate that. Anyone else noticed similar issue ?
