Crossover for Windows

I wasn't having any luck running a windows program with wine or play on linux. I came across another program called crossover. I had a little trouble getting it loaded however it worked perfectly and I wanted to share that info. The only downfall is it's not freeware. There is a 14 day free trial. Anyone else have any experience with this program?

Re: Crossover for Windows

I tried it some time ago to use the latest version (at that time) of sketchup and it did work quite well although like you say it is not free and I decided to find alternative ways to achieve what I wanted.
I think it could be very useful to those users wanting to convert to Linux but need that certain piece of software that is not yet available for Linux or there is not a good enough Linux equivalent. It did do what it claimed though so definitely worth considering for using Windows software on the Linux platform.
