New to linux-trying to resurrect my old laptop-need help installing
As the title says, I am relatively new to linux. I have installed q4OS on my SONY Vaio VGN-UX1XN
I need help with the following.
1. How to set-up an external monitor. I want my default monitor set up to use the external monitor only.
2. How to install the packages like viofan, vaiopower, camera etc from vaio-utils.org?

ad 1. We would recommend you to run and configure out 'tderandrtray' tool from the start menu.
ad 2. Go to the 'vaio-utils.org' site, you need to follow instruction for Debian Linux, as Q4OS is Debian derivative.
