My opinion about q4os

Hello, dear friends. Having tested the new versions of Q4OS for Andromeda, I'd like to share my thoughts on the test. As you all know, Debian 13, codenamed Trixie, was recently released, marking a new release of Q4OS. Today, I'd like to review both versions at once, so let's get started.

The first one will be Plasma. The system requirements for it have increased, but only by 1 GB of RAM.For the Q4OS Aquarius comparison, only 1 GB of RAM was required. So, what caused this increase? Well, let's start with the fact that Q4OS Andromeda takes up 1.45 GB of RAM on the Strat, which is a full profile, so in fairness, I'd say 2 GB is appropriate. The system requirements are indeed accurate. We're taking into account the requirements for Q4OS itself, not the apps. So, I can say that I didn't like the Plasma version, and I didn't like it for the simple reason that it didn't seem as atmospheric as Plasma 5 of that version. I'll praise the developers for the fact that this is indeed the lightest Plasma in terms of RAM consumption, even with a full profile, but it doesn't have the soulfulness that we experienced in previous releases.  As for Trinity, it's my favorite and I'd recommend downloading it to your computer. Firstly, it's not only the lightest in terms of RAM consumption, but it also creates the perfect KDE 3.5 atmosphere. So, my verdict is that Q4OS Andromeda Trinity is the best release, but the Plasma version seemed a bit buggy to me. I don't understand why it's stuck in an x11 session during boot. The most paradoxical thing is that after installation, the Plasma version runs smoothly, without any freezing. As for booting, x11 immediately starts to run a little slowly. I'm just describing the Plasma version.I have described only my personal opinion, but I say that I personally recommend the Trinity version, because firstly, old computers literally come to life, and secondly, the speed and the very atmosphere of KDE3.5.

This is my personal opinion, thank you for your attention.
