Kernel panic during install q4os 64 bit

HI I'm back. I'm trying to install Q4OS on a spare pc i had lying around but I keep running into trouble.

ok so i put in the usb drive and load up the boot menu, I select the pen drive, it loads the first screen asking to install plasma live, but almost straight away after i get a kernel panic notice.

I've tried 2 different drives, same thing on both of them I took the ssd out and i hooked it up to my main pc and i wiped the drive using gparted. It's only a 128gb ssd and tried again, still no luck.

Can anyone help me out?

You could try install-cd instead of live and post back the result.

What are the hardware specs of this spare PC?  Model number of system if nothing else.

Hi Q4OS team. I tried the DVD too. Would you believe me if i told you i got it sorted! Turns out the ram was dodgy.

That's why I asked about your hardware, as issues like this tend to be hardware issues with compatibility or a direct hardware issue.
