I still use k3b with dvd+r disks in some cases, as Ive got many friends and clients with older hardware and its still a safe way to install on these systems.

I mostly use USBImager. Mostly the same concept as balena etcher, but without all the fluffery to make it overly complex and large. It's what the Fedora Media Writer is based on.

I use Etcher and Rufus mostly depending on the situation.

Rufus, mostly (with Universal USB Installer as a distant second) here. But I do without them, by having Ventoy everywhere... ![]()

Have you had any issues with Ventoy Midas? Ive been on a few sites where Ventoy problems were reported.

Sorry for the delay, was AFK -- I've had only the occasional glitch when trying to push Ventoy beyond my pay-grade. ![]()
I like it so much I use it as default bootloader on my systems HDs, allowing me to run Windows and Q4OS (and other Linuxes) from virtual disks (e.g., large VHD and VDI files)...

Ventoy for me isn't really necessary with my use case.

I learned about Ventoy after some research, tried it several times and it has never disappointed, at least until now.
To me it's an excellent solution.

I've used Ventoy quite often and never had a problem. It's up to version 1.1.07 now.
Calm down, it's only ones and zeroes

Used Ventoy last night and had no issues.

@tlmiller76, I tried USBImager and it worked really well.
