Merci.
Hello friends.
I installed Q4os on a 2005 PC (HP Pavilion running Windows XP) just for the fun and... it works!!!
However, I can't get a Wi-Fi connection.
In fact, I don't even get "Wireless connection..." when I click on the "world map" icon in the bottom right corner of my screen.
I tried creating a manual IP address, but to no avail.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Bonjour tsylvain,
Wifi connection is automatic under windows for a desktop computer, but not at all under linux ! Some wifi keys allow you to connect to the box under Linux, but others don't . You have to look ! ( for example : NetGear wifi key )
I dug into the problem for a long time and finally bought a 10 m extension cable to connect my PC directly to my box.
And it's better, especially for the speed ...
With a laptop, the wifi connection happens automatically, even under Linux !

Run
inxi -Fxxxmprz
and copy/paste the results back here.
Also please run
rfkill list
and copy/paste results
If any of the results show 'blocked' then run
rfkill unblock all
HP laptops of that era used a combined bluetooth\wifi card. After using windows they used to 'jam' the firmware off unless re-enabled under windows. The way round that was to just go into the BIOS and re-set to default. That then allowed the wifi card to work.

@tsylvain
In addition to @bin advice we recommend you to follow https://www.q4os.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=4698 and post back the result.
