can 'reminders' program by Sasha Hale be installed on Q4OS? The website I found only offers a way to use flatpak, and it doesn't seem to work with Q4OS, or is there a way to get it installed?
thanks, jim

Apologies, I now see I can install flatpak using synaptic. I certainly don't have to correct picture, but I think of flatpak as a resource heavy item, if that's sort of right, could I use it to install reminders, and then delete all or at least all the other program material that I wouldn't need?
thanks from an extreme newbie, jim

You didnt mention what version of Q4OS you use, KDE/TDE? You can install Reminders using Discover after you enable the Flatpak option in settings. In TDE , look here for instructions, www.q4os.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=5013
I wouldnt delete anything as you may run into issues given the nature of Flatpak. The devs may be able to advise you further about these actions.

@jim
We would recommend you to install Sasha Hale reminders from Flathub https://flathub.org/apps/collection/dev … a%20Hale/1 . Don't remove Flatpak package after this action, it doesn't load the system too much.
If you have an other option how to install on Debian, please provide a link.

Just a quick note, I run Q4OS 5.7 KDE and have Flathub enabled in Discover, and Reminders is openly available to install as a Flatpak.
