Create keyboard shortcut to invoke suspend

Hi, would appreciate any tips and help in creating a keyboard shortcut in TDE to put the PC in suspend mode. I know this can be done via mouse but prefer a more direct and faster method via keyboard shortcut.

Thanks!

Re: Create keyboard shortcut to invoke suspend

This can easily be done without any external application!

First off start control panel, go to "Regional & Accessibility",  click "Input Actions"

Click "New Group", name it whatever you want, for example "My Shortcuts"
Then click "New Action" and name it to something like "Suspend"
Select Action Type: "Keyboard Shortcut -> Command/URL (simple)"
Go to Keyboard Shortcut Tab, and input the keyboard shortcut you want to set
Go to Command/URL Settings and type

systemctl suspend

Click OK

I use this approach for window tiling in Trinity DE,
Hopefully it works out for you aswell!
