Wifi connection troubleshooting

Trinity desktop:
Right click on the network manager icon in system tray > edit connections > select wireless connection > click edit connection button > go through all steps of the guide and enter proper values > until you get to the check box that says "Automatically Connect" > then click "Connect and Save".

Plasma, Trinity and other desktops:
Another way is to use terminal tool "nmtui", what is desktop environment independent. So run in any terminal:
$ nmtui
and setup your wifi

If you request a wifi related help, it would be appropriate to provide output of the following terminal command:
$ inxi -SMCGxn
Moreover, you should provide debug info as described here https://www.q4os.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=3502

Re: Wifi connection troubleshooting

Might I suggest that for ANY wifi connection issue it is mandatory for the user to provide the output of inxi -SMCGxn before it is answered.
Without that one has no idea what sort of can of worms one is dealing with.

Re: Wifi connection troubleshooting

I am new to Q4os so excuse me if I sound uninformed.  I am trying to set up aan Archer T2U plus usb adator for Wifi.  I cannot find out how to enable it.  The install disc does not execute at start up.  It may be set for Windows or Mac.  I know it can be configured for Mint linx or Ubuntu.  Any suggestions?  Thanks!
