Allow XnView MP to open HEIC images

I've installed XnView MP 1.5.2 using the .deb package available on It is said to be able to open HEIC image files, but it didn't recognize this format at first. I found the solution on … 99#p184799.
In short, if the necessary package libheif1 is already installed on your system, just execute these two commands to have XnView able to find it and able and to open HEIC files:

sudo ln -s /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/ /usr/lib/
sudo ln -s /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/ /usr/lib/

I'm using XnView MP to replace Gwenview because the latter crashes on opening large jpeg files (created by darktable), which seems to be a long time unsolved known issue.
