Partitions Q4OS

Hello, how can I make partitions in q4os?

How much space do you recommend for the operating system partition?

I'm new and I'm pretty lost

Thank you

Re: Partitions Q4OS

Hello ivandebcn,
here is an introduction for installing q4os: https://www.q4os.org/dqa007.html#inst

During the installation process the partitioning tool Gparted is run, where you can create a swap partition (usually about 2-8 GB) and a q4os-partition. Use Ext4 as filesystem for the latter if you're not sure:

The size of the partition should be 10 GB (as a minimum) up to 32 GB depending of the capacity of your hd/ssd and of what you're planing to install.
