I installed Q4SO using the quickest way. I didn't select the user name nor the password. I try with "adminq" and empty password but doesn't work. Please, can someone tell me the correct default user and password?
Thanks

The default password for "adminq" user is empty, however the installer should ask you to change the password on the first run. If not so, the installation had to go wrong some way.

I just installed Q4OS.
For "adminq" I set a password (more than 8 chars). Now I can log in with this password, but it is not accepted
for any action requiring a password, eg. passwd or kuser. What did I do wrong?

The problem seems to be caused by two different keyboard settings:
US during setup and login, German in the user environment.
Typing a "&" instead an "/" resolved the problem.
Changed password to characters identical on US and DE keyboard.

This makes me remember that I was facing exactly the same problem.
To solve it, I have edited /etc/default/keyboard ant I changed the line
XKBLAYOUT="us","be"
into
XKBLAYOUT="be"
(removed the "us" option because I use a "be" layout).
