Re: vpn sstp

In order to use sstp you would need to be running on Debian Testing (Bookworm)  or Debian Unstable (Sid).
Q4OS is based on Debian Stable (Bullseye)

If you have tried to use a ppa to add the sstp-vpn it will not work as it is designed for Ubuntu.

You MAY be able to get away with it by downloading the packages you need from the ppa site - you probably used ppa:eivnaes/network-manager-sstp.

So, go here https://launchpad.net/~eivnaes/+archive … /+packages and download and install the sstp network manager and client packages. You'll need the amd64.deb files assuming you've used the standard Gemini install. The problem is getting the right ones. I would suggest you start with the ones labelled for Focal as that is roughly equivalent to the start of Debian 11. The issue will be that there may be dependencies that are out of sync between Ubuntu and Debian. In that case you may need to use the older Bionic packages to start with and if they work, then try the Focal ones.

Please be aware that this is entirely at your own risk - I'm just suggesting a possible solution given that you've got this far.

Oh and remove that ppa from your sources as it will cause problems.
