No network on Q4OS

Hi. I installed Q4OS alongside my Windows 8.1 64 bit using the Windows Installer. I noticed there is no network available and my usb dongle is not detected. Previous version of Q4OS detected the dongle and let me to connect to our home wifi network without any problems.

My usb dongle is https: //www.tp-link.com/vn/support/download/tl-wn722n/v3/

So many views but not a single replies. This is everything I could give you. Don't ask for more information. I already gave you the dongle model. Please help.

Re: No network on Q4OS

Isn't the dongle model alone is not enough? From other Linux forums, they suggested that it could be the firmware needed for my dongle is no longer included by default on current Q4OS Windows image. If this is the case, how could I solve it? This is so long since I posted the thread but no one even cares.

If that's all you need, in the page you mentioned yourself, there is a  link to download the Linux driver and also a link to documentation on how to compile and install the driver. Did you install it?

Edit:

Well, that driver is rather old (2015) and I get errors when I try to compile it (errors in the source code, if I understand).
But the interesting thing is that the driver is named "rtl8188..." and a driver is available in the repositories for Realtek. So type

$ apt list firmware-realtek

If you see it is not already installed, type

$ sudo apt install firmware-realtek

Not sure whether you'll need to reboot, but at least unplug your dongle and plug it in back.
