How to optimize Q4OS?

Hello, I am using Q4OS 32 bits in my minilap, I like the system and it does everything I need, but if there is something left, since I only have 1gb of ram.

What can be the way in which the system consumes less?
Change desktop environment?
Use the basic desktop profile installation?

The most that my minilap supports is 2gb of ram, I am going to update it but I also want it to be as fluid as possible, of course, within the same limitations of my equipment.

Thank you.

Q4os machines:------Hp dv6 3040us, 4gb ram, AMD  Phenom II N830, HDD 320gb-------Hp mini 110-3712la, 1gb ram, Intel Atom N455, HDD 500gb. -----------I'm learning english, sorry.

Re: How to optimize Q4OS?

Trinity desktop environment (TDE) uses less resources than (KDE) Plasma.

Q4OS machines: [Samsung R519 - Pentium T4200 2.0 GHz - 4 GB RAM - 500 GB SSD] & [Sony Vaio - Pentium P6000 1.87 GHz - 8 GB RAM - 500 GB SSD]
