Update from a version to another.

I downloaded, time ago, the 3.14.2 version.
Now I need it, and I don't know how to update to the latest version without redownloading the file.
Greetings and sorry for my english(if there are errors, please tell me)

Re: Update from a version to another.

Whether you want to reinstall Q4OS <= 3.14 (previous versions) or install Q4OS 4.7 (latest version), you always need the .iso file. If you don't have it already, you must (re-)download it (follow links above).

If Q4OS is installed and you want to upgrade to 4.7, the developer (q4osteam) has always recommended to make a fresh install. In that case, don't forget to first copy (save) your /home directory to an external drive or USB in order to be able to restore them after the install.

If you want to upgrade from 3.14 to 4.7 without reinstalling, you can find a tutorial on this forum (search with the keyword "upgrade"), but is is a complex operation and, according to q4osteam, a solution prone to (future) compatibility conflicts.
