Updates won't install

My computer:

Operating System: Debian GNU/Linux 11
KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.88.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2
Kernel Version: 5.10.0-9-amd64 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: X11
Processors: 4 × Intel® Core™ i3-2100 CPU @ 3.10GHz
Memory: 7.7 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: Mesa DRI Intel® HD Graphics 2000

Today, when I started this computer, a notification said there were updates. I loaded the update manager and see there are 32 updates shown in the link in the bottom of the left panel. However, the main panel isn't showing anything to update. Thought there might be a glitch, so I rebooted the computer. It's still showing the same thing. This isn't normal, is it?

Do you use Discover as the update manager ?

We are not able to reproduce the issue. Please run:
$ sudo apt update
and post the output of terminal commands:
$ sudo apt -V dist-upgrade
$ qrepolist

Discover has issues at times and not just with Q4OS KDE. You could use Synaptic instead to install the updates. I also use Muon which was the original package manager used with KDE.

Thank you. After multiple tries, I got all of them but two. Icons for the theme didn't download. Maybe I'll get them next time.

I use the terminal most times, a simple

sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade

does the job, that being said, I haven't had any issue with discover.

Guess I am I've had issues with it in KDE Neon Testing, tho. For instance, it used to keep telling me that updates were installed when they were not, and I had to install them manually via terminal. Also, I've read about people complaining about it not working well when installing software, I haven't seen this because I don't use it for that, as I install everything via terminal, and I use a lot of appimages, too. So, yeah, I know what you mean, however, I sometimes install updates in Q4OS with Discover and have never had any issues.
