is there a way to upgrade to 4.5 without a clean install

Hi,

I'm currently running 3.14 but would like to upgrade 4.5. I would hate to have to do a clean install, reinstall all my programs and set up my configs again. Is there a way or a program (like in linux mint 19 to 20) to upgrade q4os?

Once Gemini becomes stable, you'll be able to upgrade, but for the time being, it is not possible. So, no, right now it is not possible to upgrade from Centaurus to Gemini.

I am about to install it on one of my PCs. Would you recommend that I install Gemini from the get go or to install Centaurus and then upgrade it to Gemini when it becomes stable? Thanks in advance!

I'd say go with Gemini, I've been using it for some months now and haven't had a single issue, it's quite stable already.
