Command prompt instead of graphical login.

Installed Q4OS a few weeks back. Been playing around, no problem, until this morning. Now when I boot it, it just goes to the command prompt. How do I load the Trinity graphical screen, then make it boot to that screen on my next login?

Re: Command prompt instead of graphical login.

$ startx

Should do it. If that doesn't work, what does it say? Either way, also do this

$ systemctl --failed

Does it output anything?

Hi, jeffiet3.
Depends on what you want. smile

If you quickly get a computer from a running OS, reinstall Linux.
An hour later (depending on the speed of the Internet) you will receive it.
It is faster than asked questions on the forum, wait for an answer and try to try.

If you explore Linux, then you need to read logs, instructions, etc.
