Teamviewer doesn't work (strange empty windows...)

Hi everyone,

I installed "q4os-3.14-i386-instcd.r2.iso"  + Teamviewer using "setup_q4os-teamviewer_2.2-a1_all.esh"  from Sourceforge.
Everything went well, the installation seems to be OK.

When I started the Teamviewer, appears an empty white window, with "Teamviever License agreement" title.
I was angry and I started to click a lot on the white window in different places. Clicking somewhere on the upper right quarter, the window moved to Tray. Probably I found a hidden "YES" button...
On right click on the tray icon, appears the little tray menu but clicking on any option I see just a white window.

For short: the Teamviewer seems to working but I cannot see the content of any window belongs to Teamviewer.

PS. : the 3.12 version made the same error...

Please keep in mind, the Teamviewer installer is experimental so far. Anyway we will try to reproduce and investigate the issue. What desktop profile did you apply ?

I am using TDE desktop, on an old Thinkpad R50e.
I also tried to install Teamviewer using "sudo qrepoadd"-->teamviewer repo , but same error ...

Not sure if this will work for you but i installed teamviewer via the deb file on the teamviewer website and it worked fine.

I tried directly from teamviewer.com *.deb file, but doesn't work..

We are not able to reproduce the issue, teamviewer runs fine, so it may have been a hardware related issue. Please try to run Teamviewer from terminal:
$ teamviewer
check for error messages and paste the complete output here for us to analyze.

Next run:
$ inxi -F
and also drop the output here.

Probably this is a Debian Buster problem. I  found this error also in AntiX 19.3 . I downgraded my OS to Q4OS 2.7 but in this Debian Stretch based OS everything works well !

You could also try to turn desktop effects off and post here a result.
