Greetings everyone, I've been playing around with the testing image for Q4OS 4.2. I like what I see. I noticed a couple of small new things and improvements here and there, but I also like that it's not far removed from Centaurus.
I have a suggestion for something I'd like to see in the future. Q4 identifies itself as Debian when you run screenfetch or neofetch. I think it would be neat if Q4 identified itself as Q4OS rather than Debian. No disrespect intended towards Debian.
Another thing I noticed is the Firefox version in the repos is up-to-date, compared to Centaurus that only has ESR. Would it be possible to have the updated Firefox in Centaurus without it being a flatpak, or would that cause breakage elsewhere?
Cheers

Totally agree with you as when you open Infocenter in the KDE version it identifies itself as Debian, not Q4OS. Theres no Q4OS themes or customized wallpapers but has plenty of Debian wallpapers. Offering unique apps/tools plus customized themes/wallpapers would differentiate Q4OS from a standard Debian install.
Overall 4.2 is a great distro given its a testing version.

I did offer one solution that the devs said they would look into, hopefully something might be put in place in the near future
