Unable to sent post to this forum from my desktop computer. [SOLVED]

This is a new occurrence. I can log-in to Q4OS Forum but can not preview and/or send posts because of:
"Bad HTTP_REFERER. You were referred to this page from an unauthorized source. If the problem persists please make sure that 'Base URL' is correctly set in Admin/Options and that you are visiting the forum by navigating to that URL. More information regarding the referrer check can be found in the FluxBB documentation."
I scrupulously keep Q4OS updated. This and previous posts were sent via my laptop. Request advise for course of action, thanks.

Re: Unable to sent post to this forum from my desktop computer. [SOLVED]

If you use Firefox, a possible solution is described in this forum.

Type

about:config

in the address bar and confirm you want to go further.
Then, in the search bar, type

network.http.referer.trimmingPolicy

If the value isn't 0, write it down and change it to 0.
I don't know if it is necessary to restart Firefox after that.
Try again to post to the forum.
If that makes no difference, restore the previous value.

I have seen this on one occasion - but was not able to reproduce the issue. I assumed it was just a glitch in the Matrix.

Re: Unable to sent post to this forum from my desktop computer. [SOLVED]

The value of

network.http.referer.trimmingPolicy

was set to '0'.

But the value of

network.http.sendRefererHeader

was set to '0' also which I changed to value '2'.

I found this solution by copying to my StartPage search engine:

Bad HTTP_REFERER. You were referred to this page from an unauthorized source. If the problem persists please make sure that 'Base URL' is correctly set in Admin/Options and that you are visiting the forum by navigating to that URL

Member 'korn36' of https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=181327 provided the solution working for my set-up.

In hindsight I should have used the search in the first place ; Sorry for pestering you with this trouble.
