sys-unconfig

Hi Guys,

Back in the day we used to have a thing on Solaris called sys-unconfig. This thing reset the system so that when rebooted, you had to set timezone, keyboard layout etc. up again. You also had to create user account(s) and set up networking. Very much like windows first-boot. Ubuntu has something called InitialSetup I think which tries to do the same.

Is it possible to do something similar on q4os?

The reason I'm asking is that I live in the countryside and people out here don't have a lot of money. I've been given 10 older pc's that I'd like to reinstall and donate to the local community-shop( kinda like a flea market, but where all proceeds goes to projects in the local area all managed by volunteers ). It would be nice if I could do initial configuration of them and then let people themselves set up user accounts etc.

Thanks for any advice.
