No audio

Have just installed Q$OS and I have a Logitec sound system hooked up to my machine but I cannot get any sound out of the system.
The audio symbol bottom right of the screen has a line running through the small ? speaker so how do I get sound now.

I have the same problem. Just installed Q40S 1.8.8 and everything seems to work except for the sound. System came up with sound muted, and after unmuting it, still no sound.

Assuming the sound was installed properly, Pulseaudio, click on the audio symbol and make sure the audio isnt muted and volume is turned up enough to hear, by clicking on show mixer window(under output youll see a box with a drop down that should say Pulseaudio but you might have to select a different driver from the dropdown). Success with the audio will depend on your system as older audio may be a bit more problematic.

Please post what hardware your using as it will make things a bit easier to help for members and the devs.

Pulseaudio in most cases will work fine and must be installed to have any sound.
