Google chrome update?

When I open chrome I get "This computer will no longer receive Google Chrome updates because this Linux system is no longer supported. Is there a way to manually update Chrome?

Re: Google chrome update?

Please post a short specification of your hardware and current Chrome version used. Google Chrome defines a minimal hardware requirements, in such situation there is unfortunately no way to upgrade Chrome.

Re: Google chrome update?

I am using the motherboard from an ancient Emachine tower with 2 gigs of DDR2 ram. I'm pretty sure you answered my question.

Re: Google chrome update?

Most probably you have 32bit Q4OS installed, the last supported 32bit Chrome version was 49. We can recommend you to use Chromium as a replacement. The easiest way is to install Chromium from Q4OS software centre.
