Sudo password

Hello, i am an little bit concerned about the sudo password. When i login in synaptic it ask for mine password i give it and i am login in synaptic. When i close synaptic then the password stays active until you reboot the system. When i go to the terminal and for example sudo kwrite then the application starts without asking for the sudo password because it remains active.

This is an serious matter and needs urgent to be fixed or inspected.

Re: Sudo password

There is 'timestamp_timeout' option defined in '/etc/sudoers.d/q4_sudo_confd', the default value is set to 30 minutes. You can completely disable the timeout to ask password on every sudo command.
