Hello what happened to skype?

in the version 1.4 Orion i installed skype and Ring and work very well (perfectly) but this new version is impossible to install Ring (from his page with command line) and skype does not appear in the repository. Note: Ring installed well and works on other Linux dstros even at this beta stage: https://ring.cx/en/download/gnu-linux       skype (also) in other distros is working well   at least with (working) skype,  can be OK. There any solution?

Re: Hello what happened to skype?

1.Skype
Install Skype from Q4OS Software centre as usual. Put some description and error messages in case of fail.

2. Ring
Run commands in terminal:
$ sudo apt-get install apt-transport-https
Follow instructions for 'Debian8' here https://ring.cx/en/download/gnu-linux
Put some description and error messages in case of fail.

NO- Skype is not included in the  repositories,[ only as plugging to pidgin but not the software itself,]  -    WINE (very usefull app is not present in addition) can the Q4OS Team add this to Q4OS official repository?(skype + wine? Thank!

Re: Hello what happened to skype?

Skype has never been included in Q4OS repositories. You can easily install Skype, as well as Wine, from Q4OS 'Software centre', see attachment.
