Windows (or Desktop Windows)

Hi.

I'm a first time user of Q4OS. I've used Linux Mint and have some familiarity with entering commands in the terminal, but I'm still a novice.

After installing Q4OS Trinity Q4OS 5.4.1-n1 (Aquarius) I noticed that most windows that popped up, like "Documents" or "Control Panel" were, positioned at the top right hand corner of the screen.

Is it possible to set a default where they open center screen or perhaps right center?

Just a thought.

Re: Windows (or Desktop Windows)

Sure you can.

Position the window where you want it.

Right Click on the Title Bar
Advanced>Special Application Settings>Geometry> Check Position box
Select 'Initially' from drop down
The current co-ordinates will then be accessible.
Either leave them as they are or round up, down or whatever.
OK

That will then ensure that any time you open that application it will open where you have set.
