Intrusive windows

I'm 'suffering from' an intrusive issue. You remember those 'pop-ups' we used to get online, back in the day ? Well, I'm getting something like that in Q40S.
One version is that a little window comes up 'create new folder', and the only way to get rid of it IS to create a new folder.
The other is (in Gwenview) the 'About Gwenview' box. They don't respond to the normal cancel/closure actions.

Is this a known issue?

And, as a related side question: is it possible in Q40S to get a 'Task Manager'-type option to deal with these intruders?

I'll be grateful for any help !

Sincerely

Ian G.

Re: Intrusive windows

Never seen such behavior using Q4OS (nor another OS).
I tried with Gwenview and the About windows closes when I hit the Escape key or when I click on the top right X or the Close button.

In Plasma you can open a "task manager" by hitting Ctrl+Esc.

Q4OS machines: [Samsung R519 - Pentium T4200 2.0 GHz - 4 GB RAM - 500 GB SSD] & [Sony Vaio - Pentium P6000 1.87 GHz - 8 GB RAM - 500 GB SSD]
