Internal hard drive doesn't mount automatically

Hi.

I've set up an ancient PC as a file server. I've got the share working and all is well in that respect. The only problem is that after a reboot I have to manually mount the shared drive. I've searched the forums and found various references to external drives but this is an internal ide drive.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I've given in. I'm going to try LVM instead.

(didn't want to leave my post without updating in case anyone answered and I didn't respond)

I think mounting drives at boot is handled by fstab. So, you have to probably edit that file and add the drive.
