How do I autostart an app?

Im struggling with Adguard, in the sense ive installed it ok and configured it via the web gui

I then reboot the linux box and AdGuard breaks/doesnt run

When i install I ensure its in as a service, but it isnt running?

I tried a few distros and its the same, i can only think its an AdGuard config issue... someone stuck it in startup and that got round the issue

how do i do this, being a noob

Thanks

Re: How do I autostart an app?

What version and desktop are you running?

Pretty sure that there is an autostart folder, that's what I used to ensure persistence after a reboot for a CPU / temp / network monitor widget.
