plymouth boot screen setup

I was wondering if i could setup plymouth to show a boot animation but i dont know how to actually use playmouth.... so if you could help me add a boot screen, That would be great(The reason i want a boot screen cuz i like myselft a eye candy when waiting for my pc to boot lol)

Please follow the setup for Debian. As Q4OS is Debian based, that should work. You are welcome to post the result or next help request here.

i tried the setup instructions for debian and it didnt work
iknow for a fact the plymouth is install but cant get it to work.

I think it does work bcz whenever it boots up it says started Plymouth boot screen and the font changes to something else but not sure if it's working tho
