Been trying MComix, Calibre, Peruse, YACReader, and Foliate. None will open .cbr files properly. MComix will open a .cbr file but just shows blank pages. Other programs won't open at all.
I had use Comix in Windows. Any tips as what to do?
Thanks!

I've never used MComix but spotted a post in another forum by a user of MComix and they had the same issue with .cbr files. He solved it by installing the pk7zip dependency.

Hello crosscourt. I am having the same problem with MComix which fails to open .cbr files. I saw your solution. As I am not too knowledgeable with Linux, please bear with me.
To install the pk7zip dependency, it would be done simply by searching for it in synaptic package management and installing it? Or is it something that requires bringing up the terminal and typing commands?
If it does require the terminal, could you please elaborate how to go about it? Thanks.

You can install p7zip from Synaptic package manager make sure to install both p7zip-full and p7zip-rar.
Thru terminal-
sudo apt update
sudo apt install p7zip-full p7zip-rar
