get-q4os-version  to show current Q4OS version in a terminal

To toggle Kwin Compositing on/off:
Alt + Shift + F12

If you need to update your system immediately manually, issue commands in terminal:
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Alt-F2         Run Command
Ctrl-T         Terminal Command
Ctrl-F11       Desktop Cube (w/arrow keys; also can use Ctrl-F1, F2, F3, F4)

Alt-Ctrl-L     Lock Session (start Screen Saver)
Alt-Ctrl-Del   XX "    "    (  "      "     "  ) <--(changed to Log Out)

Alt-Ctrl-Esc   Kill Session (caution, don't click background!!)

Alt-Ctrl-FnEnd Log Out/Shutdown Menu
Alt-Ctrl-Del   Log Out/Shutdown Menu <--(changed from Lock Session)

sudo fdisk -l  Display disk geometry
free           Display memory and swap size

cp             Copy Command

/etc           for fstab
/etc/default   for grub

To change Desktop Windows Manager:  Control Panel - Appearance & Themes (1st item) - 
                                    Window Decorations (last item) - 
                                    Window Manager (last tab); drop down box selects the 
                                    window manager to use, takes effect immediately;
                                    (Note: in TDE's twin, can do immediately by right-clicking
                                    any window's top border, and selecting 
                                    Configure Window Behavior..., then Window Decorations,
                                    then the Window Manager tab, etc.; in KDE's kwin, can't do
                                    it this way, so use the Control Panel, as explained above)

To change position of new Windows:  Control Panel - Desktop (2nd item) -
                                    Window Behavior (2nd from last item) -
                                    Moving (middle tab) -
                                    Placement (choose from drop down box; "Random")
                                    N.B.: above is for TDE's twin Window Manager;
                                    For KDE's kwin Window Manager, right click any window's
                                    top border, select More Actions, Windows Manager Settings...,
                                    select Advanced (on left), then under Placement, the
                                    drop down box has an additional setting, "Under Mouse"
